Policies
What to know before you book. Your therapist goes over draping and pressure again at every visit.
Booking
Book online or call the desk. There is no deposit: a card holds your time. Postpartum visits are booked once your doctor or midwife has said you can.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours to cancel or move a visit. If you are unwell or the baby comes early, tell us and we will move it with no questions.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a visit without telling us, the held time is charged as the session, as set out on the booking page before you confirm. Call the desk if something went wrong.
Children and companions
Massage here is for adults. For a postpartum visit, tell us if you are bringing your baby: a second adult needs to stay with them while you are on the table.
Undressing and draping
You undress only as far as you are comfortable and are covered by a sheet the whole time. Only the part being worked on is uncovered, and your therapist asks before moving the sheet.
Pressure, consent and stopping
Your therapist asks about pressure before starting and checks at every turn. Say lighter or firmer, or stop, at any moment.
Ask your doctor or midwife first
Please ask before you book, for prenatal and postpartum visits alike. We do not diagnose and cannot say whether massage suits you; your provider can. If they say wait, we wait.
Before your visit
Eat lightly, bring water, and wear what is comfortable. Come about ten minutes early for a first visit.
If you're not happy
If a session was not right, tell us within a week and we will look at it with you.
Tipping
Tipping is welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay.
